Introduction
Everyone loves to watch movies, and everyone wants to see it without that dreadful black bar of death at the top and the bottom or even worse, having video being chopped off. (For anyone who doesn't know what the black bar of death is, its a part of the TV that is not used for the video)
Modern cinema uses 16:9 or 21:9, you may still find that there are 4:3 versions but that is becoming rare, and when they do, they generally just chop out the extra information added. Note that the ratio are not exactly equal.
